Phil's serves a "stellar" cappuccino.

At Phil, dining patrons have the option to purchase the unique posh furniture they sat on while enjoying a divine coffee beverage or sandwich. The inventive cafe poses as a chic place to have a light meal or drink, but it doubles as a shop selling designer furniture, hip books, and music. Its eclectic nature draws a wide array of customers and provides a great atmosphere for studying and socializing alike. Occasionally, the cafe hosts entertainment events, such as book or poetry readings. The food and drinks themselves are also a great reason to head to Phil's. Beverage highlights include cappuccinos topped with cocoa stars (2.50), Bionade (2.60), DIY Mango Lassis (3.30), and Czech Kozel beer on tap. As for snacks and light meals, Phil's menu offers a tempting sandwich called the Naschmarkt Blume (Naschmarkt Flower, 3.10), which comprises a sesame roll topped with a special spread, grilled vegetables, lettuce, tomato, and pine nuts. Other sandwiches, Roasted Peanuts (1.20), Olives and Ciabatta Bread (2.90), and homemade cakes (2.50-3.10) are also available. In addition, a small breakfast menu, with items like an egg sandwich or a bowl of muesli, is offered until 5pm. For more information, visit Phil on the web at www.phil.info.
