See the Smallest House in Vienna

Vienna's smallest house is actually a storage space.
A block away from Vienna's Mariahilferstrasse shopping area lies one of the city's lesser known attractions, the Smallest House (Das Kleinste Haus). The house was built in 1872 on the corner of Burggasse and Breitgasse in the 7th district and comprises two floors. It has been and is currently used as part of the Friedrich Schmollgruber watch and clock shop. Behind the little house's iron door, a mere 14 square-meters of clock and watch storage space can be found. A small plaque (announcing the year of construction) and red-and-white banners adorn the top of the door, drawing attention to this little architectural delight. Be sure to stop by for a glimpse if you are in the neighborhood of the Museums Quartier or Mariahilferstrasse.
