Redolent Roses at Schönbrunn in Vienna
The rose arbors at Schönbrunn are perfect backdrops for memorable photos.
Rose bushes throughout Vienna are currently in bloom, and the Schönbrunn Palace is a prime place to catch a glimpse of some of the best. The right side of the palace is flanked by numerous flowering bushes, with an abundance of roses in various colors, sizes, and scents. A highlight is the two long, adjacent arbors covered in lush red roses. Visitors can walk walk under the arbors to smell the blossoms and pose for pictures. Entrance to the vast Schönbrunn park and gardens is free, with the exception of the Privy Garden and the Palmenhaus. To get there, take the U4 metro line to the Schönbrunn station.
