Sun & Sand at Vienna's Swiss Beach Bar
Groups of friends gather at Swiss Beach to relax in the sun.
The Strandbar Herrmann beach bar is currently open for its 2008 season under the Eurocup-inspired name, "Swiss Beach". The bar occupies a sand-covered corner of land along Vienna's Danube Canal and combines cocktails, sun umbrellas, and lounge chairs for a relaxing beach atmosphere. Crowd-pleasing music is also a regular fixture of the stylish bar. In June, Swiss Beach will also offer a large flat screen for prime Eurocup game viewing.
