Great Brew at Centimeter II in Vienna

Centimeter II flaunts a measurement-themed menu.
Offering beer-by-the-meter and food by the centimeter, the Centimeter pubs stand alone. Centimeter II, in particular, is a great place to have drinks and a bite to eat near Vienna's Mariahilferstrasse shopping district. Most of the food on Centimeter II's menu can be ordered in some variation of metric measurement. For example, spaghetti can be ordered by the meter and grilled dark bread pizzas are €0.15 per centimeter. A meter of beer, in the form of a meter-long wooden board topped with eight small glasses of assorted beer, is also available. Non-metric menu items of note include the Wiener Schnitzel (Fried Breaded Pork Cutlet), Speck Linsen (Bacon Lentils), and Holzhäcker's Teller (Woodchopper's Plate). If you have high blood pressure, order with caution. Though delicious, most menu items are quite salty. Centimeter has seven locations throughout Vienna.
