Maschu Maschu is the Place for Falafel in Vienna

The tantalizing falafel steals the show on the Mixed Plate (Mix Teller, about €5).
Maschu Maschu, a stylish corner restaurant near Vienna's Mariahilferstrasse main shopping area, advertises that it has the best falafel (fried, spiced, chickpea balls) in the city. Regardless of whether it is truly the "best" in the city, the falafel certainly is one of the most popular menu items. All of Maschu Maschu's meals consist of large portions of tasty, quality foods at a very reasonable price. Most of the entrees don't cost much more than €5. The ground beef patties (Faschierte Laibchen, just over €7), for example, are served aside a huge portion of savory mashed potatoes and salad. Satisfying beverages, including Starbrno beer on tap, are also available. For more information, visit www.maschu-maschu.at.
