Arena is Vienna's Hot Concert Spot

Arena comprises old graffiti-covered factory buildings.
Arena is one of Vienna's top music venues. It regularly fills its three small indoor music halls with different bands. The larger hall has recently hosted performances by Editors, Rufus Wainwright, and the Decemberists. The smaller Drei Raum (three room) bar and lounge area recently housed a performance by John Vanderslice. In the summer, bands perform on a large outdoor stage, which has inferior sound to the indoor halls, but provides a great show atmosphere.
The Arena concert buildings excell in that they are small and provide a nice symmetrical audience space. Concertgoers always get great sound and a great view. Arena also reaps alot of character from its old rundown bricks covered with colorful graffiti - they used to be factory buildings. The area provides a handful of reasonably priced bar areas and a few places to grab a decent bite to eat as well. Bathroom facilities are also reasonably ample and well-maintained.
