Best Mexican Food in Vienna at Pancho

A Pancho margarita hits the spot.

At Pancho, the dishes embody a harmony of exotic flavors that taste like they take time to prepare. Each entree's ingredients transport the tastebuds out of Vienna and into an edible realm that must be deemed authentic Mexican. Ethnicity of the food aside, the Bistec Mexicana is one of the best steaks Vienna has to offer. It comes topped with a colorful array of grilled peppers and is satisfyingly tender, juicy and flavorful with just a hint of spice. The side of green rice accompanying the steak is also excellent with its almost creamy texture and bold cilantro notes.

Another of Pancho's champion main dishes is the Enchiladas de Mole, soft corn tortillas filled with spiced shredded chicken and topped with a rich mole sauce and a smattering of delicate sheep's cheese. The mole sauce is an assaultingly bold assortment of strong, smoky flavors with an almost chocolately luxuriousness to it. It tastes like it has been perfectly aged, like a certain amount of skill and patience is required to make it. In addition to the food, the margaritas at Pancho are sensational and several Mexican/Hispanic beers are available. For more information, visit www.pancho.at.
