Bicycle Film Festival 2007 in Vienna

The international Bicycle Film Festival premieres in Vienna tonight, Friday, October 5, at 7pm with the film "Klunkerz" (USA 2006). The film stars Gary Fisher and other San Francisco area mountain biking legends. A second film, "Warriors: The Bike Race" (USA 2004), about an 800+ person bike race in New York City, shows tonight at 9pm. Tomorrow and Sunday, films continue covering topics like Vienna's Critical Mass, a bicycle protest ride against the IMF/World Bank in Prague, New York City's Black Label Bicycle Club, and the Tour de France. Also included in the program are various animations, film shorts, discussions, and activities.
A festival pass costs €25 and includes entry to each of the 10 screenings scheduled. Single entry to a particular film costs €6. All films are shown at TOP Kino and should all be presented in English unless otherwise noted.
