Chic Food & Drinks in Vienna’s Museum Quarter

Tucked away in one of Museums Quartier’s arched passageways, Kantine fronts a modest appearance. However, once inside, dining guests will become enamored with the pleasantly hip atmosphere and artfully arranged decor. In this way, Kantine expertly maintains a delicate balance of comfortable, classy and cool. Tastefully simple and elegant suede panels adorn the wall behind a spacious front room table, while a gigantic disco ball hangs from the passage leading to the comfy-chair-filled back room. It’s no surprise that on any given night, Kantine draws a large eclectic mix of locals. The food is noteworthy as well. The pita sandwiches and generous bowls of soup are excellent.

I've always wanted to go to Vienna. Reading this blog is making me hungry. Soups and pita sandwiches... Mmmm.... I'll have to keep this restaurant in mind, thanks.
