1) Mozart Würfel (Mozart Cubes) – Fine marzipan and chocolate-hazelnut nougat are covered in a layer of thick dark chocolate to form these mouth-watering cubes. I recommend these over the Manner Mozart Kugel because they have a thicker chocolate layer.
2) Karamellen (Caramels) – Delicious in their simplicity, these caramel squares come wrapped in vintage-style packaging bearing an image of Stephansdom.
3) Knoepfe (Buttons) – These bite-size round gingerbread cookies are covered in a thin layer of chocolate and are dangerously addictive. The fruit filled varieties are particularly tasty.
4) Manner Schnitten (Manner Slices) – Layers of wafer and soft sweet cream filling combine to form this most popular Manner product. The range of available flavors, including vanilla and cherry, is wide. The traditional flavor is the Neopolitaner Schnitten, which is filled with a chocolate hazelnut cream.
5) Pfefferminze (Peppermints) – These tiny chocolate-covered peppermint patties are refreshing and satisfying.
6) Schokobananen (Chocolate Bananas) – Sweet banana marshmallow is covered in a fine layer of chocolate to form these candy gems. The banana flavoring is derived from real Chiquita bananas.
7) Schaff’s Milch Schokolade (Sheep’s Milk Chocolate) – These chocolate bars have a pleasing flavor and texture and come in cute wrappers bearing a little cartoon lamb.
8) Neopolitaner Liqueur (Hazelnut Liqueur) – This hazelnut liqueur is a welcome addition to a cup of hot cocoa.
9) Haselnuss Mignon (Choco-Hazelnut Bars) – These are like individual sections of Manner Schnitten with the added bliss of a chocolate covering.
10) Dragee Kekse (Chocolate-Coated Cookies) – These are delicately crunchy vanilla crescent-shaped cookies with a think chocolate candy coating. They are available in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate.
