Orange Julep is hottest drink in town

You'll never find a better place who will serve orange juice like the Julep does. We don't really know what's in the famous mix, but you know that orange juice like this is only found here in Montreal.

Located just off the Decarie highway, the Orange Julep is hard to miss. Like a beacon in the Montreal sky, the gigantic, three story "orange ball" will draw you in whether you know about it or not. Built in 1942, founded by a man named Gibeau, this building has been in service for over 60 years! It has the old-school feeling of a drive-in fast food joint, serving the delicious grubs of hotdogs, hamburgers and tasty greasy french fries.

Its parking grounds have been converted to weekly car shows, from restored hot rods to souped up imports. The shows are so popular that they've even divided the lot, determining as to where non-participating cars are supposed to park and leaving a specially reserved spot for show cars.

For Montrealers to go bonkers over orange juice, this place is a must-see and a must-taste! People often forget about the Julep since it's not located downtown, but mention it to anyone and they'll always express a feeling of nostalgia and desire to go back for their special orange drink.

You can find the Orange Julep at 7700 Boul. Decarie, open 24/7!
Nearest accessible metro: Namur.
