For the love of cake
Some of the best cake I've ever had came from Cocoa Locale, a sweet little cake shop on Park Avenue. The owner and baker, Reema, is a bubble cute woman who calls herself a "glorified grandma" But I tell you, my grandma never baked Valrhona Chai Cake or Lavender Vanilla cupcake. A 5 minutes walk from the Mont-Royal, its a perfect romantic spot to share the sweetness of life after an invigorating hike on the mountain . Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
