Eat Cheap as God looks on!
Fear not, one shall not be dining under the same roof as the great creator; one will merely be eating on a Sunday. That is, of course, if one wishes to eat cheap! For every Sunday at the 'Trois Amigos' Mexican Restaurant in Montreal's downtown region, the 49c Taco comes out to play.
At such pre-hisoric pricers, one would be wise to question the integrity of the product- "is that really chicken in my Taco Pedro?" Yet all concerns are in vain, for the food is a decent quality (partculary the Mexcian rice at $1.50) and without doubt unbeatable value. The restaurant itself displays all the charm one expects of a Mexican eatery, and the service is passable.
Essentially the gem lies in the price. My meal amounted to a whopping $2.83, and I was stuffed like a Christams Turkey. Throw in a few of the bucket size Pina Coladas and one has turned a boring Sunday into a veritable siesta!!!!
