Long Weekend Getaway:Lakeshore
This long labour's day weekend I was too busy to plan a weekend get away so I did what I could do while being in Toronto.We went for a picnic on the Beach....Lakeshore is one of the best tourist attractions in Summer.
The numerous bikers, roller bladers and of course children make it so alive and full of life.You can just drive down there and be assured that you will not feel lonely or isolated.One can't help but just look at all the people there with awe and admiration.Right from kids to seniors....from dog lovers to swimmers....they are all there.There is a separate track for hikers and cyclists.And for those of you who love to barbecue on picnics you can definitely pick Lakeshore as your next picnic destination.
The Toronto skyline with CNtower makes the view from the shore breathtaking.The rocky shores and the sandy beaches along with a bridge that runs across the lake serve as a wonderful backdrop for all the photography fans.For all those who don't like to pack a picnic basket there are quite few fast food joints you can count on in the vicinity.
So next time you can't think of a place to hang out or don't have enough time to plan an elaborate get away give Lakeshore a chance to surprise you.
