The Ten Spot on Queen West

I really hate the winter months, so isn't it nice to see that the days are getting longer? With spring and summer approaching and  sandal season is coming,  it's time to get feet back into shape. The winter weather tends to make hands, feet and skin really dry so indulge in a little pre-season pampering. Open for less than a year the 10 spot nail bar on Queen and Euclid is a beauty boutique offering clients a full menu of spa services at reasonable prices. Praised by the press as the "it" spot for fashionistas and Toronto elite, the Ten Spot was the official spa for last season's L'Oreal Fashion Week and likens itself to more than just a retreat. The environment has been designed to encourage a total social experience where clients can mix, mingle and unwind with a movie and a cocktail from owner Kristin Gale.
The service menu includes nail treatments for the hands and feet, waxing and facials. The manicure and pedicure service is offered at two different price points - $20 for the Quickie Manicure and $30 for the Manicure, $40 for the Quickie Pedicure and $50 for the Pedicure. All mani, pedi treatments feature cake products. Facials start at 100.00 and are customized for the individual using dermalogica. Unique packages have also been created for this anti-spa "The Hot Date" including a manicure, pedicure, Brazilian wax and a confidence cocktail. Get over him and dish with your best girlfriend while enjoying "The Break-up" two pedis with a pint of Ben and Jerry. Side note - the brazilians at the Ten Spot are rumoured to be the best in the city.
The Ten Spot is open seven days a week. Thursday through Saturday it stays open until 10 p.m. for clients with a busy social schedule. Private parties are also available with two weeks notice for groups of six or more. For appointments call 416-915-1010.
