A premium vodka bar in Toronto? Here's PROOF

Newly renovated hotel cocktail lounge Proof: The Vodka Bar, sets the ultimate scene for after-work cocktails beginning this Wednesday, February 7, 2007. The lounge, fresh from it's facelift, is far removed from its predecessor Harmony Lounge. Proof draws a younger crowd and won't disappoint the after-work crowd.

Every Wednesday, the lounge will open its doors to pre-dinner patrons for cocktails. As the name states, Proof is in fact a vodka bar, and as such, boasts over 40 brands of vodka from Russia, Poland, the Ukraine, France and Finland, including premium brands Grey Goose, Smirnoff Penka and Stoli Elit. Treat yourself to any one (or two) of their creative cocktails and signature menu of "bites" after a long day.
Proof: The Vodka Bar is located at the Intercontinental Hotel in Yorkville. Nestled in what promises to be Toronto's architectural hot spot (across from the Royal Ontario Museum and the Royal Conservatory of Music), this cocktail lounge is hardly the neighborhood bar down the street. Enjoy any one of five spacious lounge areas this Wednesday with DJ Gary Cronin from the UK.
