The Great Glebe Garage Sale- Ottawa
Looking for a bargain and just happen to be in the city this weekend? Don't miss the Great Glebe Garage Sale! Held every year, the fourth Saturday in May, rain or shine, it is a community event benefiting the Ottawa food bank. Residents from the Glebe set up tables in their garage, front lawn, driveway or porch and put various items up for sale. This is one-stop garage sale shopping. I attended last year, and it was fantastic. The Glebe is beautiful to walk around at any time, and having the opportunity to purchase some unique items at the same time......well, for some, it just doesn't get any better! I love a bargain, and this is the place to look for one. I found a very nice wooden salad bowl set, new in it's box for $2.00; and a Chinese style bud vase for just $0.50! There are definitely treasures to be found.
