Incline Railway, Niagara Falls
While in Niagara Falls, Ontario, there is a unique way to be transported from Table Rock House, at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls, up the hillside to the Fallsview area where the Fallsview Casino and many of the hotels are located. The Falls Incline Railway has been transporting visitors up and down the hillside since 1966. The service costs $2.00 per person each way (for all ages; 5 and under are free). The incline railway cars smoothly and slowly climb or descend the 100 feet of the embankment. Although the trip only takes one minute per way, expect the total one-way trip to take 10 minutes of so, keeping in mind the time to wait in the line, and then the wait in the car until all the seats are full.
The fare for the Incline Railway (unlimited rides) is also included as part of the Niagara Falls & Great Gorge Adventure Pass.
