Last year we went to a free one day open house event at the North Vancouver Outdoor School. Though slightly rainy, we enjoyed a free day filled with paper making, kayaking, archery, and roasting bannock. All of this at a school campus nestled in the trees; beautiful and peaceful.

Working near Gastown means lunches in Gastown on sunny days. I have walked up and down Gastown many times and all the sudden, Chill Winston popped up. I could not recall when Chill Winston opened its door, I really should pay more attention to the neighbourhood.

Whistler Resort is set to construct a new lift. Unlike the Symphony Express Chair unveiled this year that opened up a thousand acres of new terrain, this one won't be to get up to a new set of runs.
