The Cup Bistro and Deli

Imagine being able to trust that the food you feed your family is not full of pesticides, growth hormones and antibiotics. Then, imagine knowing first hand who raised the animals that fill your sausages and sandwiches. Now imagine a red seal certified chef who has graced the kitchens of Rob Feenie's Lumiere and the prestigious Vancouver Club preparing traditional food with quality hand selected products. Put all this together and you have the newly opened Cup Bistro and Deli.

Chef Steve Fecho and his top notch team have set out to bring Squamish a Commercial drive style eatery where you can sit and enjoy an espresso or Italian soda while watching world cup soccer. Sourcing the best local meats and cheeses from Vancouver Island, Pemberton and the Fraser valley, The Cup has a great representation of fresh products to grace your table for every meal. "I am very proud of everything we carry" says Fecho, "everything is hand picked for its quality and flavor."

If you are looking for easy meal ideas then this is your first stop to make. You can purchase  tasty meal basics like the pre-made braised pork shoulder stuffed with honey crisp apple and have it home and on the table in about 10 minutes. Keeping up with supporting farms who promote agricultural diversity there is a bounty of fresh organic meats from sirloins to sausages from Pemberton Meadows, Sloping Hills Pork, Maple Hills free run chicken and so much more. Your kids can have healthy sandwiches with organic luncheon meats and top quality cheeses.p1030859.JPG

The cup offers Breakfast daily and Sunday Brunch with Eggs Benny, real Belgian waffles, home made granola and more. Lunch service provides delicious soups, fresh salads and sandwiches like chicken and cheddar or my new favorite braised lamb wrap with manchago cheese. The lamb is a flavorful tender melt in your mouth delight and put against a mass produced meat will win a flavor test every time!

Formal or casual, The Cup Bistro and Deli offers catering for events up to 50 people. Many gluten free products are available and as well you will find whole vanilla beans, specialty teas and flavored vinegars.

Pros: Great place to stock up or for take out on your way up to Whistler.

Cons: Have to turn off the highway but by only a block and easy access back onto hwy 99.
