The Reef

I have wanted to write about The Reef on Main Street and King Edward Ave. for couple months now. Finally get around to it this morning.

Main Street is full of little trendy shops, consignment stores, and has many flavours to offer. There is the delicious bakery called Liberty, the mouth watery God-Father like Cipriano Italian restaurant, up-scale and hip Crave and Caribbean HOT The Reef.

I am not very "wordy" when comes to describing the interior of restaurants. But I can tell you this, the minute I stepped into The Reef (www.thereefrestaurant.com), I felt like I was on one of those all inclusive tropical vacation. Inside the restaurant, the owner must have cranked up the heat to 25C or more. The cute waitresses are in their tank tops running around serving customers. The use of bright colours on their walls and paintings are especially soothing on a rainy day.

The first time I was there I had Jamaica Me Crabby and a Ting (carbonated grapefruit drink) . Link had Kingston Quesadilla and a homemade ginger beer. Both meals were way too delicious =).

This is THE restaurant to visit, on a rainy day ~
