Spa Utopia - North Vancouver
I have been to many spa locations, and Spa Utopia in North Vancouver is the one I worship dearly. I have been to the one in Pan Pacific, but it is just not the same.
I started to go Spa Utopia approximately 2 years ago when I discovered that my extended medical covered massages performed by Registered Massage Therapist. All I had to do is to ask for the receipt with your RMT's name and RMT's number when you check out.
My first visit was such a heavenly experience. They have a huge ladies shower and change room area with steam room. The area is fully equipped with cucumber water, lemon water, elastic bands to tie up your hair, shaver and shaving creams, hair dryer, hair brushes, hair gels and mousse, Q-tips, cotton balls even contact lens solutions. I have never been to a spa that is so thoughtful!
After I changed into my robe, I headed for the lounge where I could sip tea or coffee, read a magazine and relax. And in about 15 minutes, my masseuse would come escort me to my hot stone massage session, my favorite.
After the session, I have a choice of red wine, white wine, orange juice, cranberry juice, water, tea or coffee. I could go enjoy the steam room or go back in the lounge to enjoy the view, the magazine or to chat with my girlfriends.
I had all the time in the world in Spa Utopia. And after my shower, a complimentary touch up of make up is offered, so I could look rested and glamorous at the same time =)
I have another hot stone massage booked tomorrow. I can't wait...
