Premium Outlet

Besides all the shopping scene in Vancouver, let us not forget about the Seattle Premium Outlet which is approximately 1 1/2 hour away from here!

When comes to shopping, I am a loner. I like the tactic of 'get-in & get-out'. Therefore, this past Saturday, out of impulse, I drove myself down to the Seattle Premium Outlet. I took out $500 USD and bravely went over to the US custom all by myself. Yes, you guessed it. The US custom was not too friendly when he saw me traveling alone, but he still wished me a good day when he saw the empty trunk.

After a hour a bit more driving down I-5, I finally arrived at the Seattle Premium Outlet. The sun is shining, the sky is blue, and my palm is sweating because I have some serious shopping to do.

After taking the parking spot from our fellow British Columbian, I went straight into Starbucks to get my tall, extra hot, non fat cappuccino with cinnamon sprinkled on top.

Almost all my outlet shopping experience started with Coach. As always, it is a mad house in there. I quickly browsed through and made notes to come back after I gone through once the stores on my agenda. Next stop, I went into J.Crew. I shop at J.Crwe online religiously, so when I knew there is a J.Crew outlet, I was ecstatic. I didn't see much for myself, but I bought two pair of cargo shorts and a pair of pants for my fiancé just under $100.00!

Nine West shoes is another must. When a pair of Nine West pump is tagged at $125.00 in Vancouver, I got away with two pair pumps at $75.00 USD.

Then I spotted Michael Kors. Michael Kors is one of my favorite designer. I lingered in the store for the longest time but only walked away with a stunning white summer dress which Neiman Marcus is still selling for $160.00 for $100.00.

Calvin Klein is another shop I highly recommend you visit. If you are looking for men's dress shirts, you can't miss Calvin Klein. Their dress shirts starts from $30.00 and they have racks and racks for you to choose from.

Another must is the cosmetic company. If you are a female, you will appreicate the discounted price the cosmetic company has to offer. The price is unbelievable!

If you like kitchenware and house ware, they have Restoration Hardware, MIKASA, and many many more kitchen ware shops at crazy discount prices.

At the end of day, I walked away with two pair of shoes, a dress, two pair of shorts, a pair of pants, two calvin kelin t-shirts, a coach wristlet, a mascara from estee lauder, two eye shadows from clique, a nail polish and a lip gloss from MAC, and a bottle of perfume for $460.00.

Need I say more? Just make sure you clean your car out before you drive down the border to avoid question and detain :p

ps. to get to Seattle Premium Outlet, take high way 99 to cross the Peace Arch border, get on I-5 and take exit 202. Then follow the sign to the casino. You won't miss it.

Happy Shopping...
