Stomp @ Center for Performing Art

I just had surgery and am currently ordered by my doctor and my fiancé to stay in bed which is a perfect time to catch up on my writing.

Pre-surgery we had a chance to catch the show STOMP at the Center for Performing Art. I was super excited to see STOMP again. The first time I "enjoyed" STOMP was at a super small theatre in New York and it was phenomenal. The show was small and intimate and full of laughter.

Center for Performing Art, however, brought a total different experience. From the elegant entrances to the marble floor to the mansion like stairs to the lighting made me felt like I should be in my most elegant ball gown, instead I was in my jeans and Jcrew cashmere hoodie :p.

The show, needless to say, was as exciting as I remembered. Although I do wish when STOMP is in town next time they would pick a smaller venue. In my opinion, STOMP is meant for a smaller, more intimate venue because I think the audience would appreciate more if we actually could get to see their face and their reactions.

However, whoever built the center did an exquisite job. It was one of the most enjoyable night out
