Farmers Markets coming soon!
The Trout Lake Farmer's Market will be in full swing mid-May. Farmers Markets are an excellent way to support the local BC farmers AND help the environment by buying local. It cuts down on the emissions from transport vehicles by buying locally.
I've been to a few of the markets, and the Trout Lake market in East Van is my favourite. They also sell crafts, not just food. Other farmers markets I've been to and really enjoyed include the market out in Mission and the market in Coquitlam.
