History of Prostitution in Vancouver
With the release of Daniel Francis' book, Red Light Neon: A History of Vancouver's Sex Trade, he hosted a walking tour of Chinatown and beyond.
The walk started at the Chinatown arch and we made our way through Shanghai Alley, up ender Street, down Richards Street and to the Penthouse nightclub.
Daniel stopped the group every few blocks to give juicy details and interesting facts about the buildings and streets around us.
I would say that over 30 people showed up for the tour. Not bad for a miserable day of cold and rain.
We paid our $22 and received a signed copy of the book and a tour of our racy history. A totally delight.
