Waxing doesn't have to be a pain...
While Andy Stitzer in The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005) might have gone through extreme amounts of pain in simply removing a few patches of hair from his chest, not everyone has to suffer so.
About one year ago I broke down and went for a chest waxing (it was a gift from my girlfriend, so at least I wasn't paying for the pain out of my own pocket I thought to myself).
The experience was quite revealing, for while I wouldn't go so far as to say that it made me feel good, it most certainly did not make me feel in the slightest bit worse. The wax was warm not scorching, the esthetician was very kind and careful with me, and the result was quite pleasing to the eye and to the touch.

The services offered go far beyond waxing, but the environment was such that as a young male I did not feel intimidated in entering the facilities nor in receiving the services, if anything it was a calming oasis tucked just outside of the urban jungle.
