Stepho's Souvlaki - Famous for being Famous

You might know that Vancouver Island-born Pamela Anderson was "discovered" right here in Vancouver. The story is that she was caught on camera on the big screen at a B.C. Lions football game, and an advertising executive saw her image and tracked her down. The rest was Pammy and Kid Rock history.
What I love about Pamela Anderson is that she's famous for...well...being famous. She has no particular talent nor obvious abilities, but she continues to maintain a successful career.
Stepho's Greek restaurant in Vancouver's West End is a lot like Pamela. Sure they have good food, reasonable prices and a fun atmosphere, but it's mostly famous...for being famous.
Stepho's has the longest, time wasting line-ups of any restaurant in the city. Every single day (literally) for both lunch and dinner, Stephos has a line up waiting outside to get in. It's not necessarily the best Greek restaurant in town, but the line-ups create buzz - and that buzz keeps them busy every day of the year.
If line-ups aren't for you (like most Vancouver locals), you can get even better Greek food at Taki's Taverna right up the street in the Davie Village.
