Marina's Gelato - Maple Ridge
This week let's take a tour down 224th Street, the heart of downtown Maple Ridge.
Our first stop is Marina's Gelato, a favorite for locals and visitors. All the gelato is made on the premises by Marina's husband Paul, using the best in fresh ingredients. If you come at the right time, you can sit down on one of the leather sofas and watch Paul work his magic behind the glass wall that lets you view the inner workings of the kitchen.
Make sure that you give yourself lots of time to decide which flavour to choose, trust me, it is not easy to do (there are over 40 of them). From fruity yumminess to decadent chocolates, they also have gelatos that are diabetic friendly and dairy-free. Not in the mood for something cold? There is also a choice of specialty coffees, pastries, soups, and paninis.
Once a month you can enjoy the always comfortable atmosphere at Marina's Gelato while listening to live music. On sunny days, enjoy your treat sitting outside at one of the tables provided before you explore the rest of 224th Street.
