Collicutt Centre Red Deer
Want to stay active when visiting Red Deer? Or maybe you just want something to burn off energy for your little monkeys? Check out the Collicutt Centre, a city maintained sports complex with literally something for everyone. The main attraction of course is the giant aquatic centre, complete with five different pools, and a steam room. The pools include the large main wave pool with a lazy river, a childrens pool with a monstrous fun centre in the middle, a fountain pool for the younguns, and two hot tubs, one with ramp access. They have male, female and very handy family changing areas.
The Collicutt also has a huge field house, two soccer pitches, gymnastics centre, arena, as well as a multi-level fitness area complete with a 290 metre four lane track.
A great family year-round attraction, at very reasonable prices for all of the above activities! If in Red Deer for an extended period of time, I recommend the Collicutt Card, which gives unlimited access on a monthly basis, and you could get your moneys worth within a week, no problem! My family have been members since the Collicutts opening, and we all love it for different reasons, and they are open early and stay open late as well! Enjoy!
