2007 Edmonton Motorcycle Show


The 2007 Edmonton Motorcycle Show is just around the corner!
Starting on January 12, and running through to January 14, 2007 - this will be a fun, action packed weekend! So, get your friends & family together and bring them all down to Northlands Agricom for the kickoff of a 6 city show tour!
Below is a little insight into the weekend events:
MX FREESTYLE
MX Freestyle (Freestyle Motocross) is a newer sport that showcases the rider's ability to perform acrobatic stunts while on a motorbike. The winner is decided by a panel of judges based on the following criteria: style, best use of the course, and the level of trick difficulty. A definite must-see for any adrenaline junkie.

2007 CANADIAN NATIONAL INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
This event is presented by the Alberta Mini RoadRacing Association, featuring the top racers in the country competing for the very first Indoor National Title! Be there to experience it!

YAMAHA KIDS RIDE ACADEMY
To show your little ones the fun and excitement of off-road riding, there’s no better bike than the PW50 mini bike. And there’s no better place to try one out than at the 2007 Edmonton Motorcycle Show.
For kids 6-12 years old, the Yamaha Kids Ride Academy will be offering free rides onsite. Sign up onsite to book your ride - as there are limited spots each day!

ALBERTA TRIALS RIDER ASSOCIATION
Trials is one of the oldest motorcycle sports around. It has developed into the most family oriented, least expensive and safest forms of motorcycle competition while also being perhaps the most highly skilled, scientific, and challenging sport in the motorcycling community. Trials highlight the rider's skills of throttle control, traction sensitivity, balance, boldness, and split-second reaction!

RED LINE FASHION REVIEW
If you have a love for motorcycles, and a passion for fashion- don't miss this event. This event will be showcasing the new 2007 riding apparel and accessories from manufacturers such as Arlen Ness, Icon, Thor, Z1R HJC and Bitchin Gear; presented by Parts Canada.

CANADIAN VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE GROUP DISPLAY
For the folks that are interested in Vintage Bikes, don’t forget to check out the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group (CVMG) display. The Northern Alberta Group has an incredible display of rare and unique models that date back to the early 1900’s.

MOTORCYCLES AND MYSTICISM - (Book Signing)
Kelvin Marshall has spent his whole life riding and working with motorcycles. He was a founding member of the CPTA & a 6 time B.C. Trials Champion. Kelvin has organized Trials schools and worked for some of the finest Bike shops in the country. He has also owned two motorcycle shops of his own.
Kelvin's book takes a look at what it took for him to become a champion and how he ran two very successful motorcycle shops. It also takes an in-depth look at the insights and experiences that he acquired from riding a motorcycle. "Riding a motorcycle is one of the greatest experiences one can have. It ting, relaxing and most of all FUN." says Kelvin. Kelvin Marshall will be having a book signing at the Alberta Trials Riders Association booth during the 2007 Edmonton Motorcycle show. Come meet Kelvin and talk to him about his book and unique experiences.
