Love live music? Try Morgans Pub!
I live close to 17th Ave SW, aka the Red Mile, so Im no stranger to the pubs offered in that neck of the woods. Last night I headed out to Morgans Pub, located on 17th Ave and about 14th Street. It was a blast, not only did they have $3.50 highballs and $3.75 pints of domestic beer, they also had a live band. The band played some original tues, as well as the typical covers. This was the first time that I had ventured there on a Sunday night, and I was totally impressed. Between the free pool, live band and cheap drinks, it was a great night out. Morgans is known for its Tuesday night band, Broken Toyz, which is a fantastic 80's cover band. If you're thinking of checking out the show, make sure you are there before 9.30, otherwise you wont get it, its that popular!
