If you love museums, you must visit the Glenbow Museum! I have been dozens of times and learn something new each time. The museum is located at 130 - 9 Avenue S.E. and visitors save 50% off parking at the Calgary Tower's Palliser Parkade. Hours of operation and prices are below.

Melrose-Red Mile Headquarters


I was lucky enough to experience a Flames playoff game at Melrose on Thursday. Wow, was it ever an experience. THey have a zillion TV's all around, you dont even have to turn your head to have a great view of the game. Calgary Zoo


If you love animals, walking around, being outdoors, or just need a place to take the kids, visit the Calgary Zoo. The zoo is open 9-5pm every day except for December 25 and is located at 1300 Zoo Road NE in Calgary. Prices range from $8-16 and rentals are available for wagons, wheelchairs, and power wheelchairs. Bottoms Up!


In the Killary area of Calgary lies Bottoms Up! This joint is a true sports lovers haven! I went there for a friends birthday, not too sure what to expect. I was totally blown away! Chutney: Thank You, Come Again!


The cashier yelled "Thank you, come again!" as we wandered out of Chutney on a cold Wednesday night and needless to say, I was already wondering when we would be going back for round 2. Trong Khanh: I Pity the Pho


Tucked away in between Mykonos and a donair stop on 1115 Centre Street North, Trong Khanh is barely noticeable to those who are driving by. With a reputation created by John Gilchrist, Trong Khanh seemed to be a good place to grab a quick bite of Pho, unfortunately we were sorely disappointed.
