If you are in Las Vegas, or you just so happen to be headed there right now I suggest you go to The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel. They will be displaying Imagine: The Artwork of John Lennon this weekend.

The exhibit being presented includes over 100 pieces of art that were created by John ...

Hotel Room Advertising

The first thing I like to do when I get into a hotel right after I crank the A/C, is to hop onto the bed and take a moment to get my mind in order. If I have nothing to do that day or night, I sometimes like to watch some TV, or read a book. What I do not like is have to deal advertising.

Luckily for me, I have ...

UK Hotels hire Romance Concierge

Researchers based in North Yorkshire England have just completed a project that looks into what people think about romance and getting engaged. Their findings have been utilised to create the first romance 'event' and Romance Concierge in the UK.

A romance conierge is a great idea. Planning the perfect way to pop the question can be tough. I think anyone thinking about ...

Former California Rep 'misspends' funds

I do like when people in higher offices of power take advantage of their situation and steal from their company, and in this case, ultimately the students of Berkeley.

According to an audit released Thursday George Strait, a former associate vice chancellor at University of California, Berkeley, ‘misspent’ up to, if not more than $2,000 of university funds on personal meals, hotel rooms, and other such luxuries.

Among the improper expense reimbursements ...

Nicky Hilton's Hotel

Nicky Hilton's Nicky O Hotel chain is going to have a feature that I think every hotel should, something more important than even a/c, hot tubs, and mints on pillows. In each one of the hotel elevators there will be E! News tickers providing entertainment news 24/7 so you can keep up with what celebrity is getting divorced and having a baby! On top of those delightful tickers computer in ...

Oasis to build hotels, not trash them

I'm starting to believe that designing and launching your own hotel is going to become more popular with celebrities than starting their own fashion line. Liam and Noel Gallagher of British super group Oasis are planning on opening a hotel chain in America.

Many of Oasis' hit songs such as ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘All Around The World’ are to be the building blocks of theme rooms. Although some of their ideas, like ...

UNCW students living in hotels

Even though classes at the University of North Carolina Wilmington start on Wednesday, more than 90 students are in temporary housing. And many of those students are being put up in a local hotel until on-campus rooms open up.

The students in the hotel do not get full room service, however they do have housekeeping cleaning up after them once a week. But a lot of the students ...

Twenty something friendly hotels

From the latest in the trend of trendy hotels comes a new plan by US hotel brands to attract young professionals who are in their twenties and thirties.

The new trendy hotel names include Cambria, Aloft and Indigo. The cost is around the $135-a-night range. Edgy design, stylish decor, fun hangouts outside the guest rooms and flat-screen TVs will become their trademarks.

Aloft, based on Starwood Hotels’ popular and expensive W chain, ...

Hotels for Kids

Can you feel it? There is great change coming. Well okay, by great change I mean that summer is nearly over. I've said it once, but I will say it again... summer is almost over. If you haven't gone on any family vacations yet do it ASAP! The ‘back to school’ commercials have been on TV for weeks now. I'm sure your kids are tired of watching them. Sure you've ...
