Cousteau puts his name behind Eco-hotel complex


Developer Sea Mountain Five and Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ocean Futures Society are planning to develop a new 434-acre eco-hotel in Punaluu on the Big Island.

The current infrastructure and golf course on the site was a project started in the early 70s but never saw completion. The new developement plan proposes to renovate, renew, and update the old infrastructure.

Donald Trump sets his sites on Waikiki


The Trump Organization and Irongate have announced their plans for development of a luxury hotel-condominium, which will be part of the Outrigger Enterprises' Waikiki Beach Walk Project.

The new Trump International Hotel and Tower Waikiki Beach Walk, at Saratoga and Kali roads, will include a 775,000 square foot tower. There will be about 460 luxury hotel-condominiums, four stories of parking, and 6,500 square feet of dining and retail space.
