The city of Indianapolis has chosen a 25-story JW Marriott Hotel as the starting point for the expansion of their City's Convention Center. Indianapolis hopes the flagship hotel will open by March 2010 Final Four men's college basketball championships. The 25-story Marriott Hotel will have 800 to 1,000 rooms, as well as feature an underground garage with 1,200 spaces and an indoor water park.

BusinessWeek.com is reporting that a Los Angeles airport area hotel employees have ended their hunger strike in support of higher wages. The workers underwent the water-only fast outside the Westin Hotel near Los Angeles International Airport in support of a city living wage law enacted Nov. 27.
Employers will have to pay about 3,500 workers hourly rates of $9.39 per hour with health ...
