Hotel bathroom changes
According the ConsumerAffairs.Com hotel guests who enjoy a relaxing bath to collect their thoughts at the end of a hard business meeting will have to request a bathtub in advance.
I never thought it would happen, but it is. Over 5,000 hotels across North America are replacing their bathtub/shower combination, a combination known and loved by millions of people, and replacing them with giant walk-in showers. Many of these new stylish walk-in showers even include better showerheads and curved curtain rods to provide even more space.
So why would hotels want to rip up their bathroom? Well economic reasons mostly. Showers consume less water, removing the bathtubs lowers hotel insurance premiums, shower stalls are easier to clean, and fancier shower stalls justify room rate increases.
