Thunder Bay Adventures
I got in one more road trip before winter sets in this weekend. A friend and I took a drive to Thunder Bay Ontario to return my summer roommates' car to him. He had to leave it with us when he went back to school because the car was in the shop. The drive up there was fun...but scary. Fun because we had some crazy tunes cranked in "Trooper" the purple car and it is always fun to be driving on a highway. That is until the highway is wet and there are semi trucks trying to run you over.
We rolled into Thunder Bay around 4:00am, which by the way is way to late/early to be driving. We ended up crashing at our friend's apartment in Thunder Bay until the morning and then we checked in at the Days Inn Thunder Bay. It was the perfect spot to stay, not just because the room was really comfortable, it was also close to everything we wanted to see including Confederation College where our friend takes film production.
If you are ever in Thunder Bay you have to go to the Thunder Bay Restaurant it is probably the coolest little restaurant in the city.
We also got to see the Sleeping Giant which was neat, and helped on student film set, which was more like a real film set than any student film I was ever part of before.
