UNCW students living in hotels
Even though classes at the University of North Carolina Wilmington start on Wednesday, more than 90 students are in temporary housing. And many of those students are being put up in a local hotel until on-campus rooms open up.
The students in the hotel do not get full room service, however they do have housekeeping cleaning up after them once a week. But a lot of the students say the nice accommodations do not make up for the advantages of on-campus living.
UNCW officials expect the students to be living on campus by October 1st. Many of these students will receive the rooms of students who do not show up for classes by Friday.
