Twenty something friendly hotels
From the latest in the trend of trendy hotels comes a new plan by US hotel brands to attract young professionals who are in their twenties and thirties.
The new trendy hotel names include Cambria, Aloft and Indigo. The cost is around the $135-a-night range. Edgy design, stylish decor, fun hangouts outside the guest rooms and flat-screen TVs will become their trademarks.
Aloft, based on Starwood Hotels’ popular and expensive W chain, offers 'stylish design, technology and a hip urban attitude.' While Hotel Indigo, from the InterContinental Hotels Group, will take a spiritual attitude. They claim customers can experience 'a sense of growth and renewal that remains in your spirit long after you leave'.
