Hotel works suspended for supports AIDS awareness


The International AIDS conference wrapped up in Toronto on a negative note when 70 hotel employees at the Chelsea Hotel in Toronto Ontario were asked to remove small pins supporting the International AIDS conference. Equity Inns Inc. Buy 3 Marriott Hotels


Hotel real estate investment trust Equity Inns Inc. said Thursday it completed its $26.2 million acquisition of three Marriott hotels from LinGate Hospitality Group.

The hotels have a combined total of 378 rooms and were bought for about $69,000 per key, the company said.

The purchase includes two SpringHill Suites by Marriott located in San Antonio and Houston and a Fairfield Inn & Suites in Atlanta.

Deer Crashes Hotel


Sleep at the Terrace Hotel in Cincinnati was rudely interrupted on Tuesday when a deer crashed through a window and into the quiet Cincinnati hotel.

At 5:10 a.m. the police received the call about the large buck causing chaos inside the Terrace Hotel. It wasn’t until 6:25 a.m. that the deer was captured by SPCA workers. The deer was obviously scared and confused.
