Clooney and Pitt's Hotel Plan Folds
George Clooney, Brad Pitt and their business associates have halted plans to build a $3 billion "vintage Vegas" style resort complex near the Las Vegas Strip. They cited construction costs and a lack of residential growth as just a few of the reasons why the Oceans 11 duo is no longer going ahead with the condo/casino/hotel project as planned.
The property was purchased for $90 million only one year ago and is selling to another development company for $202 million. Clooney has stated he will be donating his profits to the African Debt Relief Project.
