Donald Trump sets his sites on Waikiki
The Trump Organization and Irongate have announced their plans for development of a luxury hotel-condominium, which will be part of the Outrigger Enterprises' Waikiki Beach Walk Project.
The new Trump International Hotel and Tower Waikiki Beach Walk, at Saratoga and Kali roads, will include a 775,000 square foot tower. There will be about 460 luxury hotel-condominiums, four stories of parking, and 6,500 square feet of dining and retail space.
As a special treat this luxurious complex will include a library, wine cellar, cafe, outdoor swimming pool (of course), sun terrace with ocean views, cabanas with tropical landscaping (again I couldn't see a Trump tropical hotel without them), indoor and outdoor dining and bar areas, a bar in the lobby, a private fitness center and spa, and separate residential and hotel lobbies. So basically everything you would imagine if someone said Tropical Trump Tower.
Construction starts next year, and the project is supposed to be finished in 2009.
