Once in a while, however, we receive a travel story that is so compelling that it truly is as awesome as the images it came with.
Today is your lucky day, because this is one such story:
Some days ago I traveled from Barcelona (Spain) to Detroit (USA) and the scheduled flights were Barcelona-Paris and Paris-Detroit in the same day (Oct 2) but when I arrived to Paris the airplane was not ready to fly. The reason: “technical problems”.
After 4 or 5 hours in the airport, the flight was cancelled until next day and the air company gave us a voucher for a night in Paris but it was not not really Paris, they took us to …
… Hotel Cheyenne …
… in …
… Disneyland Paris!!!!
I bought an air ticket to go to the USA and they took me to a “Far-West” town, with a Sheriff in the reception’s desk of the hotel, all the staff wearing cowboy and indian clothes, non-stop country music and all the buildings and items with the typical look of the western films (Saloon, warehouse, etc.).
I suppose that Eurodisney must be a nice place to enjoy your holidays if you go voluntarily with your family, your kids, your baggage, etc., but if you are 36 years old, you are single, you are alone, it’s monday, it’s a cold afternoon, it’s raining, you wear the same clothing for two days (or more), etc., you can feel like in a jail or a mental hospital.
And then, after some beers, when I was alone and boring in my room in the “Billy the Kid” building I decided to take me some self-pictures for you, wearing only my new yellow Eurodisney’s rain-poncho and here is the result.
And please, don’t worry, the position of my arms is not for you, is the gesture that I dedicate to the air company!!!!!!!!!
Have a nice day. Teren
Teren, that is one heck of a story…and one heck of an outfit. And if any folks out there wonder if this image is the real thing, check out the Wild-West themed trim at the guestroom ceiling!
It really does just keep getting better and better!
