Hotel Bed Jumping at a Good-Nite Inn

‘Bunnygirl’ is one of our most tuned-in viewers, and she’s also an accomplished hotel bed jumper. Bunnygirl spent last New Year’s Eve bed jumping in L.A., and we’re thrilled to feature another recent jump session at the Good-Nite Inn, Redwood City.

Bunnygirl’s account of her motel experience was less than stellar so we assume that she is bed jumping to spend as little time as possible touching her bedding!

bed jump on friday the 13th in a sketchy motel. we couldn’t go swimming because the pool was questionable. so we stayed in and bed jumped instead. hurray!

Hotel Bed Jumping to rid the Wedding Jitters

Our married viewers might remember feeling that “anxious energy” days, weeks or even months before the big wedding day. With so many details programmed into the “perfect” wedding experience, it’s not hard to understand why emotions can be heightened and nerves a little “jumpy”.

It’s not only the bride and groom who feel the tension, however. Wedding planners, DJ’s, catering operations, cake decorators…they all feel the pressure to perform too.

Ann is a wedding photographer who finds herself on occasion needing to chill in her hotel room before a wedding event. We think Ann has pretty much mastered aeronautic relaxation…and we can’t wait to see her mix it up with Yoga in the future. Maybe a flying downward-dog?

Check out these hilarious poses taken at downtown Detroit’s Hilton Garden Inn.

The night before a wedding is always a time of high anxiety for me as a wedding photographer. The pressure to do a perfect job and not miss any important moments while also trying to be creative can be crazy-making!!

I’m finding that bed jumping is a grrrrreat stress reliever and workout the night before a wedding!! In these images I’m practicing my ninja-like moves… Flying Clown Style, Jumping Froggy Style, Crouching Writer Style, and Floating Feather Style. What do you think of the off-camera flash?? - Anne

What do we think of the off camera flash? The shadows are as funny as the bed jumps!

Hotel Bed Jumping at the Fort Worth Best Western

When Geoff was recently at the Best Western in Forth Worth, Texas he remembered to pack his camera, of course, so that he could send in his Texas-sized bed leap.

Geoff, that’s some sweet action!

I jumped to the other bed!

Anatomy of a German Hotel Bed Jump, Belgian Style

Geert is a bed jumping aficionado from Bruges, Belgium. When Geert travels, he maintains a strict agenda of good times…and hotel bed jumping.

When Geert was recently in the town of Gondorf, Germany he stayed at the Terra Ventura Hotel . Under the motto “discover, seize, experience”, the Terra Ventura offers “very special guest experiences”. Geert has a clear vision of what makes his hotel stays unique and special - and luckily for us he documents his experiences for us all to enjoy.

The last time Geert sent in some jump images he was in Aachen, Germany at the upscale Dorint Sofitel Quellenhof Hotel. Today we are happy to showcase Geert’s latest educational series - featuring take-off, in-flight and of course the most important part…the landing.

It’s me again, Geert from Bruges, Belgium. Due the bad quality of the bed my second attempt of bed jumping on December 4th failed during the warming up. In January however, we took a few days off after a very busy December month and travelled again to…Germany. There in Gondorf one can find the 3 star hotel Terra Ventura. The main event of our trip was off course the jump. I hope you’ll enjoy it. I certainly did as much as I keep enjoying the site.

It just keeps getting better and better!

Simon Says Bed Jump at the Cerulean Tower, Tokyo

We recently heard from Simon, a frequent guest of hotels in all kinds of “dreamy” locations. According to Simon, however, the view out the window isn’t the only thing dreamy about his hotel experiences. Being a hotel bed expert, Simon happily shares his love of dream-filled nights in a Westin Heavenly Bed.

In fact, these plush guestroom beds have inspired Simon to capture some awesome bed jumping images from the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. Enjoy these hilarious photos, and don’t miss reading Simon’s thoughts below as he launches over his hotel bed. Bonzai!

Hi there jumping Jacks!!!!

I don’t know what I like more - jumping on the bed or hovering above it :) I spend quite some days of the year in all kinds of dreamy hotel places around the world - and they all come with soooooft (oh Westin’s Heavenly), “please jump on me” beds! This is my first attempt of capturing these moments… and after so many attempts… the attached piece of art was created :) I felt like flying as well - as the view from the 34th floor at Cerulean Tower Hotel in Tokyo is faaantastic! :)

Enjoy!
Simon

Bed Jumping at the Omni Mandalay Hotel, Texas

We recently received some hotel images from Lori, a BedJump.com fan from Dallas, Texas. Lori stayed overnight at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas for work, and she still found the time to capture a few bed jump images for us all to enjoy.

These photos truly capture the essence of a perfect bed jump; pure joy in her expression, sheer comfort on the bed and huge creativity on the “launch”:

I got the chance to stay at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas (which is in Dallas) for business one night. It’s a beautiful hotel, a bit hoity toity for my taste, but the bed was a perfect landing spot of bed jumping acrobatics! The bed is way up high and I’m short so it was hard to get a running start so I launched myself off a chair!

Thanks for the comic relief during work! :) - Lori from Dallas

Don’t worry Lori, we won’t tell your Boss that you’re surfing BedJump.com during work hours! It just keeps getting better and better.

Bed Jumping with a twist at the Hotel Kubler, Germany

BedJump.com has received hundreds of hilarious hotel bed jumping images over the last few months, and we are grateful for that. These images bring smiles to thousands of people, and the stories that come with them are both entertaining and educational.

There were only two images that we received that we chose not to post on the site, and that was simply because the bed jumpers were completely naked! The pictures were hilarious, but we want to be mindful of the fact the we have viewers of all ages - including bed jumping kids.

Once in a while we read a comment out there from a viewer suggesting that we are promoting the destruction of hotel property, and we are quick to point out that our intent is to celebrate hotels and hotel beds, not destroy them. Modern hotels beds have been super-tested under stressful conditions. They can take much more punishment than our bed jumpers deliver.

Today, for the first time, we are featuring a hotel bed jump that did end up damaging a hotel bed - although it was quickly fixed. When Matthias, featured below, pulled off his mattress to fix the old wooden box underneath at the Hotel Kubler in Karlsruhe, Germany, he found something he was not expecting!

Unfortunately, I found your site too late. This last year I was traveling almost every month. Now I’m stuck here till next year, so this will be my first, and for some time the last picture I send to you.

I’ve never tried this before, so the picture is not mid-air or in a cool position like I wanted to, so it’s not getting better than this. The bed is very small…I banged my head 2 times. Or was it three? Can’t remember.

Anyway, while jumping on the bed, I dislodged the wooden bed frame slats, so no more practice for me. While I was fixing the bed, I found a dead bird beneath.

“Manager! There is a Pet Semetary in this guestroom”

- Hopefully he will not ask how I found it…

The dead bird is the only negative thing I can say about this hotel. The employees are very nice and the room I have is GREAT. So is the room service. I have a little kitchen and they even wash the dishes!

I also think that the bird didn’t go itself under the bed (it’s a closed room under the bed), so I assume it’s a bad joke made by a pre-user of this room.

Hotel Bed Jumping, and After

We’re always on the look-out for a new twist on an old theme here at BedJump.com, which is pretty hard to accomplish with something so unique and individual as a hotel bed jumping image.

Luckily, there are plenty of folks out there who do the work for us…like these awesome images that include the bed jump bed “landing”.

It really does just keep getting better and better!

A Beheading in the Cayman Islands

We have heard many comments from some of our taller viewers that some folks just aren’t built for hotel bed jumping. We feel for you…but don’t let that stop you!

Bed diving, bed rolling, bed swimming, bed making…we love it all!

A face only a bed jumper could love!

All right y’all - when we say we love fan-submitted images, we mean it! We love the good, the bad, the ugly and the hilarious.

Check out this image of Tyler - whose face got a bit mangled doing flips from one hotel bed to another. Just another reminder to inform all our viewers of the Hotel Bed Jumper’s Mantra:

Hotel beds are totally sweet, so jump on ‘em high & low and kick your feet. Just make sure that you don’t leave any clues…and of course you need to remove your shoes!

Wait a minute, there’s no verbiage about jumping safely. We’ll let one of our fans educate us in that area instead:

Tyler as seen in this pic has his face all skinned up. This happened at a Holiday Inn Express near Conroe, TX. Tyler was doing flips between the two beds when on one jump he didn’t quite make the other bed and hit the floor face first. I don’t know if you will want to post this but its a good warning as to what can happen when bed jumping gets a little out of control.

You heard it here first folks!
