The biggest bed I’ve ever slept in

The tiny bloke in the picture is Dr B. He is 5 feet 11 and 1/2 inches tall — 182 cm.

We stayed at the Hilton Metropole, Brighton, United Kingdom during Brighton & Hove Pride last year, and we will this year too, as a last-minute surprise from Dr B.

It is not sure we will get the same room. Last year we were awarded this huge bedroom as an upgrade after complaining about the original room — it had a crummy view of the back air-con units, and breadcrumbs in the bathroom.

Must remember to pack breadcrumbs.

Folks, nowhere on this bed blog does it specify any warning for jumping “at your own risk”. Posting your images poses no risk to me whatsoever!

Here goes a first draft: Don’t bed jump on a Hilton Hotel window sill!

We’ve covered Hilton beds a few times here at BedJump.com already…and we’ll do it again. Like right now.

Check out a Brussels Hilton Hotel bed. Looks a little wonky with the expansive mattress real estate without full pillow coverage to match. Can’t quite tell whether this was housekeeping’s set-up, or whether the guests are in the middle of a fight.

Usually we like extreme bed jumping images, deluxe bed set captures and one-off odd-ball bed related craziness.

Today, however, we also love cozy little babies who look sweet and silent huggin’ onto their favorite “stuffy”.

Sleep on Ramona you little cutie. You can’t write material this good!

It’s hard to resist imagining yourself lazing around in this sweet Marriott bedding get-up in India. It might not be the plush double mattress pillow-top non-flip princess-and-the-pea bed…

…but no doubt the saying “build it and they will come” applies nicely in this case.

Check out this guest-submitted image of a moment of respite for a traveller to the Hilton Dulles Airport near the Washington DC international.

A survey of 1,000 U.S. households commissioned by Hilton Hotels Corporation found that 50 percent of respondents reported capturing only six hours or less of sleep per night while travelling, which is two hours less than the average needed to function at peak performance.

A hotel bed jump here could potentially end of the BedJump.com Hall of Fame (when we create one).

Here’s a beauty from the Mandarin Oriental in New York City. Typical Asian influenced red & black styling. Very nice indeed, although not much “landing room” left with all the pillows.
