Ferry travel can be pretty lackluster, especially if you are travelling overnight. It’s not much like a cruise ship where entertainment abounds and mountains of food are waiting for you around every corner. On the ferry, you’ll likely have to entertain yourself.

Check out this awesome image of Stefano hanging out in his ferry stateroom aboard the SNAV line for a little mid-air reading. Our Italian isn’t too good, but does it not look like Stefano is reading a book about a boating disaster? Hmmm…

When Travel & Tourism students go on a cruise, you’d better believe that they will participate in all the activities the cruise ship has to offer. After all, how can they describe the cruising experience to a future customer or colleague if they haven’t truly experienced it from the inside.

This group of bed testers from the Canadian Tourism College in Vancouver, Canada were on an Alaskan cruise aboard the NCL Norwegian Star cruise ship. These students have a very clear idea of what “fun on a cruise” really means!

It just keeps getting better and better. Cruise ships are certainly floating hotels…and a perfect opportunity to show us what you’re really made of.
