Imagine working at Starbucks. I’ll bet you would drink a lot of coffee. If you work at a local restaurant, I’m sure you eat there a lot whether you have to pay or not.
Now imagine working at HotelsByCity who maintains a huge hotel and travel blogging network (including us here at BedJump).
As you suspected, working here means that at some point you will be featured jumping on your bed in your guestroom. We love that kind of thing around here!
Hey Chris, It is Chad from HBC Again with some photos I finally got off my computer. Every year my buddy Joel has a birthday party at the Transcona Inn so we can use the water slides! So obviously a few brave souls took part in my mandatory bed jumping photos.

Robert sent in these images recently from his romantic getaway with his partner to Lugano in Switzerland. He labeled the images “Hotel XXX”, but we think there must have been some sort of misunderstanding. All we see is some harmless Hotel Bed Jumping!
OK, maybe we’re missing a pair of pants or two but if you’re a fan of BedJump.com you’ll know that this certainly isn’t the first time!
Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a market town in Bavaria, southern Germany. The 1100-year-old towns themselves (Partenkirchen’s roots go back to Roman times) were separate communities until the mayors of Garmisch and Partenkirchen were forced to combine the two in 1935 in anticipation of the 1936 Winter Olympic games.
And speaking of the Olympic Games, check out Tuende doing some serious vertical training at the Edelweiss Hotel in Garmisch.
It just keeps getting better and better!

When love is in the air you simply can do no wrong. Take Jessica and Matt for instance–a young couple who travelled to Montreal for some romance and perhaps a little “action”…bed jumping action that is!
Enjoy these bed jumping antics snapped at the Delta Centre-Ville hotel in Montreal, Quebec:
My boyfriend, Matt, and I stayed at the Delta in Montreal to enjoy the luxury of a King sized bed and cable TV…and of course bed jumping! His skills far exceeded mine, as you can see. Fun nontheless!
There is nothing like a good bed jump to celebrate a great show from the previous night.
Check out this old-school bed flop by an old-school country crooner at the Nashville Comfort Inn in Indiana.
My friend’s band, Moonshine Mason and the Rot Gut Gang, play old school country in the vein of Merle Haggard, Porter Wagoner, Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, etc. They booked a show in Nashville, Indiana, a small “resort” town in beautiful Brown County. The Comfort Inn was right next door to the Pineroom Tavern where they played. This shot was taken on the first try the next morning while waiting for someone to get out of the shower.
Thanks for sending this in, Chris!

Karl works at HotelsByCity, and last week he sent in some hilarious bed jumps from the team at HotelsByCity. When Karl was in Vegas last year for an Internet conference with HotelsByCity co-founders Randy and Andrew, you would expect hotel bed jumping to be top-of-mind.
They checked into the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino for the conference and luckily for us, bed jumping was first on the agenda.
Check out Randy’s launch off the headboard, and Andrew’s drop from…well…seemingly from the ceiling fan!
These pics were taken back in the Fall of 06 when Andrew, Randy, myself were in vegas for an SEO conference. I figured the owners of HBC should have a couple shots up of themselves bed jumping! Cheers
Andrew and Randy join ranks with other HotelsByCity employees like Chad and Dustin who have already been featured here at BedJump.com.

Meg sent in some awesome bed jumping images of her and her friends mixing it up at New York’s Le Parker Meridian Hotel tucked in between Times Square and Central Park.
Mom, Kevin, Meg, the Twins…everyone got in the action. There were so many pictures to choose from that we simply had to use them all!
We went to New York to sightsee-we ended up bed jumping! There are twins bed jumping off of twin beds, and then Kevin got air, but landed on his ribs, but it was worth it! Mom had air too!

Brett sent us in a bed jumping image that really touched our hearts. Exhausted after a day of tackling the hilly downtown core in Seattle, Brett was still motivated to snap a bed jump image in honour of us folks here at BedJump.com.
Wait a minute, this jump was inspired by the mighty New York Yankees!
Check out this action captured at Seattle’s Executive Pacific Hotel Suites.
In Seattle for the Yankees/Mariners series. We wandered the city trying to locate Yankees merch and had finally found it on the waterfront. After about 2 hrs of walking up and down the hills of Seattle, we were beat. Yet, we had to get the bed jump in. Go Yankees.
There is always lots of anxious energy before a wedding takes place, and it isn’t always the bride or groom feeling the pressure. Guests often have to wait for extended periods between events so they’ll find unique entertainment to help pass the time.
If you are a wedding guest like Ryan Claytor who also happens to be the Cartoonist-in-Residence at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco, you’ll find some creative ways to keep things lively!
Thanks for sending this in Ryan–that’s some sweet Marriott action.
Killing time before a buddy’s wedding. Thank you San Mateo Marriott.

Todd avoided near disaster recently when he was staying at the Sheraton Suites in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. You see, it was Todd’s last day of vacation and he almost forgot to snap a bed jump picture and send it in!
Whew, that was close.
It was our last day in Florida and I forgot to “do my thing” a.k.a. JUMPING ON THE BED! Ahh, that was fun!
