The Great Restaurateur Bed Jump-Off of 2007

Geert is a friend of ours from Bruges, Belgium, and he’s quite a prolific hotel bed jumper. So much so, that he has a BedJump pictorial “Wall of Fame” in his restaurant, the Gulden Vlies.

One of Geert’s restaurateur colleagues (and a close friend) visited his restaurant recently, and he was spotted eye-balling Geet’s wall of fame:

Mario runs a superb restaurant in Snellegem and is often a guest with us. on a few occasions i saw him staring at my little wall of fame with a dreamy glance in his eyes… I knew he was going on a trip to Lisboa. And apparently he was up to something.

Clearly Geert’s instincts were bang on, and we received this hilarious image depicting the fruits of Mario’s bed jumping labour:

“After a few attempts, finally i succeeded. The picture attached is from the Lisboa Hotel Turim. Blandine (my wife) was still not yet recovered from our last visit to the Gulden Vlies, you know, with santa claus being there…

Maybe she’ll jump in february in Torgon.”

Indeed, we hope she does…and we’ll feature the pics right here at BedJump.com!

Hotel Date Jumping in El Paso

Planning an activity for a first date isn’t always easy. The challenge, of course, is to find the perfect balance between romance and fun. You want to reveal your terrific personality, and you want to create an environment where your date can do the same–in hopes of making an awesome first impression.

The options are limitless, and with a little creativity anyone can plan a date that will be truly memorable. Who knows, maybe you could even do something that will get posted on a fun blog…forever!

Jodean sent in these hilarious captures from a hotel room in El Paso Texas, showing off the best first date activity we’ve ever heard of:

Met through online dating and this is how we chose to spend our first date

Natural Born Bed Jumpers at the Gaslamp Marriott

When Chelo checked in to the San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter to attend her company’s seasonal party, there were lots of preparations on the agenda. After all, who doesn’t want to look their best at a shindig with all your work colleagues?

All that work paid off of course, and there was still some time left over for some fun–BedJump style:

…so I was getting ready for my Company Holiday Party - got my hair all ‘did’, working the make-up, then I had the most wonderful thought! BEDJUMP TIME!!!! .the end.

Comfort Bed Jumping in Paradise

Weddings are always fun occasions, and the anticipation felt by guests before and during the big day always adds another dimension to a hotel stay.

When Claire visited Paradise, California to attend her cousin’s wedding, she checked into the Comfort Inn. Luckily for us, Claire and her partner found a way to add even more spice to the celebrations…and we’re delighted to feature some pics for you today:

These were taken after my cousin’s wedding. The hotel wasn’t anything special, as you can see, but the beds were clearly designed for jumping.

Bed-Dropping In for a Conference Event

Here’s a shot snapped at the Comfort Inn in New York City…

…Bedjump after the day of conference at the Future of web design event.

Hotel Bed Jumping at Le Meridien, Shanghai

Here’s a little bed jumping action from the bustling city of Shanghai, China. We love receiving jump shots in cool places from our international bed jump ambassadors.

Not much info came with this pic, other than it’s called “Shanghai Kiss!”.

Outstanding technique, straight from the People’s Republic of China:

Bed Jumping at the Best Western University Inn

Chad was recently in Bloomington Illinois, staying at the Best Western University Inn with a crew of friends for a birthday bash.

We always enjoy receiving bedjump pics from a great celebration…especially when we get to meet folks who are game to take bed jumping to whole new heights.

We can’t quite figure out whether Matt brought his Blinky suit for the b-day party, or for a bed jump picture. Either way, we’re pretty stoked about these hilarious images!

A group of us were attending an annual birthday bash in Bloomington, IL. Matt decided to sneak in his “Blinky” costume from Halloween. For the record, bed jumping encased in cardboard adds a whole level of difficulty…

Whoa!!…it really does just keep getting better and better!

Crafty California Hotel Bed Jumping

‘HelloBunnyGirl’ is a seasoned bed jumper and hotel maven, and we’ve gladly featured her more than a few times here on BedJump.com.

BunnyGirl is a crafty one too…as in ‘art & crafts’! On a recent trip to L.A. for a major craft fair, Bunny Girl snapped a bed jump or two at the Ritz Milner Hotel, then another at the Fountain Grove Inn in Santa Rosa:

we were in la for the xl felt club and mini maker faire at lacc. the milner is a kitschy downtown hotel a bit past its prime. but i’m sure it was probably quite the hot spot in its day.

We planned a day trip to point reyes and stayed in santa rosa at the fountain grove inn. it was quite the find. a posh gem. i wish we could have stayed longer.

Hotel Bed Jumping at The Point, Brisbane

We always love a good story, but a picture truly is worth a thousand words.

No story. Great bed. Nice hotel. Awesome city.

Thanks for sharing, Thomas!

Flying High at the Hotel Arts in Calgary

Lindsey brought these incredible hotel bed jumping images to our attention, and they’ve pretty much blown our minds.

Captured at Calgary Alberta’s Hotel Arts—these sweet jump stylings are about as true to the Hotel’s name as any we’ve seen. Style mashed up with design, and a vibrant ‘craziness’ quotient helps this nutty set deliver some true entertainment.

We’re delighted to feature these for you today:

Safety First at the Bishop Day’s Inn

It’s usually the extreme sport enthusiasts who take personal safety the most seriously…after all, they have the most to lose should something go wrong.

Angela sent in these two extreme jump pics of Zo and Edward at the Day’s Inn in Bishop, California. Clearly these gents know how to push the limit, and we love the the fact that they’ve commandeered their safety equipment to protect their melons on their “rock-hard” beds:

The rock hard beds at Days Inn really rocked Edward - good thing he wore a rock climbing helmet!

Zo needed his landing light for this night time jump in Bishop, California.

Bed Jumping on Race Day at the Doubletree, Chicago

While in Chicago for a cross-country meet, Sam stayed at the Doubletree Hotel. Although we don’t know how Sam placed in her division, we do know that she was stoked about her hotel experience. Can’t you tell?

We were there for a cross country meet and were more siked about the hotel than the meet.
